The Romanian NATO Youth Academy, powered by Bucharest Model NATO Conference, is a brand-new project carefully assembled with the purpose of providing high school students with a truly innovative and unique learning experience.
For the duration of six days, students will have the opportunity to explore the past and present of diplomacy and world politics, learn more about NATO, and take part in various leisure and team building activities, including airsoft training, boot camp activities, archery etc., against a stunning mountainous backdrop.
Working in collaboration with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Romanian NATO Youth Academy seeks to expand students’ horizons with regards to their role as the leaders of the future world, and equip them with an extraordinary experience.

Meet other passionate students while taking part in activities like airsoft training, bootcamp, archery, camp fire etc.

The fee for the program is 1400 RON and includes accommodation and 3meals/day during the whole program, costs for activities and transport from Bucharest to Susai, Predeal and return.

Ana Radu is a recent graduate of the International Computer High School of Bucharest. From mathematics and volunteering to traveling and organizing various projects and events, Ana embraces challenges of any kind that offer her the opportunity to meet wonderful people. She is always positive and tries to make the best out of every situation.

Razvan is a junior student at Laude-Reut Educational Complex. The main topics that define his interests are Artificial Intelligence and Particle Physics which he both combines in the research project he is working on. Being last year’s winner of the Best Overall Delegate award and taking part in many other diplomacy conferences he shaped his perspective as an ambitious advocate of truth and cooperation.

Minodora is a 12th grader at Gheorghe Lazar National College. She loves playing the piano and the accordion. Apart from this, she is the midfielder of a team which participates in the first league of the national women football championship. Her strong ambition, her organized mind and her competitive nature helped her succeed in various international projects and activities.

Mihai is a senior student at National College “Mihai Viteazul”. His passions, among world affairs and debate, are Mathematics and Economics. He participated in many international diplomacy conferences and supports a constant awarness of events around the globe, which shape our world. In addition to these, he is particulary fond of travelling.

Andrei Petroff is a junior student at "Mihai Viteazul" National College. He is the Music Director at Asha.radio, as well as does Business Development at Fitpass. Wishing to pursue a career in the field of Economics, he actively searches to broaden his understanding on current political trends and events.

Sanziana is a junior at 'Spiru Haret' National College. Noted for multiple acts of humanitarian volunteering, the most remarkable of which constituted of an English teaching program at a Women's Center in Nepal. Sanziana is a prospective student of the 2019 New York Times Summer Academy. She values growth, contribution and human relations.

Cristina Alxandra Serban is an 11th grader at the International School of Bucharest. Her main interest areas are business and management and she loves being part of an environment that never limits her and always allows her to grow on multiple levels. The Romanian Nato Academy is just that!

Georgia is currently a freshman at the American International School of Bucharest. Her passions include studying literature, learning about world history and, of course, diplomacy and taking part in MUN and Model NATO conferences. She is extremely excited to be taking part in the organization of the Romanian NATO Youth Academy and hopes to make this experience an educational and memorable one.
